Cathy Sue Carpenter

Cathy Sue Carpenter, a native Chicagoan, is an artist through both genetics and
environment. Daughter to Thomas A. Carpenter, Artist & Photographer, she was
exposed to all forms of art from a very early age. She expressed herself through
experimental art, dance, writing and later photography. However, she was
encouraged to take a sensible path in life. At 17 years old, she joined the troupes
in Corporate America, and attempted to suppress her creativity. Over the years, still
in need of some creative outlet, she quietly began developing collection of photos,
for her own pleasure. These photos would end up in storage boxes, among them
what would become her “London Adventure” Collection. In 2003 she embarked
upon a journey of self discovery and ran across her boxes of photos and other
treasures, so she embraced her creativity and started Cathy Sue’s Creations.
In addition to Cathy Sue’s Creations, she owns Creative Chick Marketing Shop a
full-service marketing, advertising and public relations. She is aslo a
mommyblogger and recently launched MOMtricity. She still resides in Chicago with
her husband and son. She gives back to the community as much as possible and
spends her free time writing her novel and finding art in all walks of life.
