Cathy Sue’s Creations cares greatly about the environment as well as the
community. We are always looking for ways to incorporate sustainable practices
into the company. By utilizing recycled and vintage items, we are increasing the life
cycle of some products. Our goal is to continue the art of staying in touch, with zero
impact on our environment. Here are some ways you can help too.
Re-Use
Store it!
Cathy Sue’s Creations cards are meant to be keepsakes. Don’t conform to the
throw away nation and create a keepsake box to store cards, letters and
mementos. When you need a pick me up, take a moment to peruse through your
special box and I assure you a smile. Keep the envelope with it so in 20 years you
can marvel at the cost of postage.
Frame it!
Trim out the Cathy Sue’s Creations picture cards to fit your favorite frame and hang
in on the wall. A card from a loved one makes your new piece of art even more
special.
Hang it!
Turn your card into a Christmas ornament. Use a plastic or metal lid from the jar of
your choice and cut the card to fit inside. Decorate the outside of the lid with
decorative trim, don’t forget to add a bow or loop on top so you can hang it from your
tree.
Seal it!
Cathy Sue’s Creations cards bought from retailers are packed in a protective cello
sleeve. The sleeve is resealable, so when you remove the card, you can put a
picture or special keepsake inside so it will be protected from years to come.
Recycle
Paper
The paper from cards and envelopes are 100% recyclable. Make sure to remove
any additional items that are adhered to the card before recycling.
Plastic
The cello sleeves can be recycled with your local recycler that accepts cellophane
plastics.
